Looks great. The art is beautiful.

Beautiful! :-)

I still have Miracle World, and a working Sega Master System. Is a model 1 so it comes with the card reader instead of the 3D glasses.

That´s nice.
In Brazil this game replaced by that 'Maze' game in system's memory. The package also came with California Games.  It was easy to make a 90´s kid fall in love with gaming.

Model 1 came with the (secret) maze game and an Alex Kid In Miracle World cardridge. Model 2 ditched the card reader, came with the 3D glasses includef and had Alex Kid in Miracle World as an onboard game.

Model 3 sucked.

Edit:  All 3 models were sold in Brazil but model 1 was only sold early on since the "e-card games" were not sold in Brazil so the card reader was useless.

Those cards were basically games for the Sega console that existed before the Master System and was only available in Asia anyway.

This is a nice fun game! nice AlexKidd!!

I had a lot of fun with this game, it's absurdly good and well polished for a first game! Congratz :)

I obviously love the art and animations, but I was also pleasantly surprised by how new mechanics and enemies are introduced each level. Since the level design was very well done and the new gameplay elements were familiar to me, everything was pretty straightforward and I rarely got stuck trying to figure out how things worked. I found some minor bugs with the flaming sushi sound effects during the last levels, but it did not significantly impact the experience.
I hope you keep designing and developing games, I'm eager to see what you come up with next.

Great original spin on a beloved franchise. Alexx Kidd would be proud! 5/5

Truly appreciate the comment and I'm happy that you actually played the game. It's a first for me.

Thanks PiJamar.

Any chance you made a downloadable version in the future?
